I stopped buying commercial icecream long ago after reading the ingredients. I then made it myself with fresh cream and while it was yummy, it was doing the family waistlines no favours. This recipe is so guilt-free it can be eaten for brekky....and sometimes is.
Brekky Icecream
2 Cups Vanilla Yoghurt (frozen)
Fresh or frozen fruit (mango, strawberries)
1 glug real maple syrup
To Make:
Put frozen yoghurt in the TM (I used Mundella brand)
Add fruit of choice - about a cup full
Add a splash of maple syrup
Blend speed 6 for 30 seconds and serve immediately.
To store: store in freezer and whizz in the TM next time you want to eat it.
Perfect for a special treat brekky or dessert.

Warning - acquiring a thermomix will change your culinary life. I bought one in order to spend less time in the kitchen and love the thing so much I can't stay away from it. Here I share my favourite recipes and ideas.

Must. Stop. Making. Custard.
I have banned myself from making custard in my thermomix. It's just too easy and too delicious and showing a whole kilo on the scales. So no more custard, after today.
